I recommended my 10 books and now it's time to pick three books to read. There are 562 books on the list as of today, and many of the books have been listed by more than one person. It's really taken off. After going through the list, I found a list of books I already own, plus a few more that I want to read as well. Here's my list of potential reads:- The Princess Diaries - Meg Cabot
- A Lesson Before Dying - Ernest Gaines
- The Plague - Albert Camus
- So Big - Edna Ferber
- Their Eyes Were Watching God - Zora Hurston Neal
- Big Stone Gap - Adriana Trigiani
- The Bean Trees - Barbara Kingsolver
- Crow Lake - Mary Lawson
- The Secret Life of Bees - Sue Monk Kidd
I don't know how I will pick just three. There are so may good books to pick from.

I don't know how I'm going to pick. Like I don't have enough good books to read, I had to join this challenge. Sheesh. 562??
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have a great list started though!
I highly recommend The Secret Life of Bees. Bean Trees is very good, too. I think I've already picked my books, but I will enjoy looking over that list.
ReplyDeleteTheir Eyes Were Watching God is a great read, and The Secret Life of Bees is also good
ReplyDeleteI kind of wish I'd joined this one just for the cute button. LOL I haven't read any of those titles, although I own copies of Cloud Atlas and Big Stone Gap. And, I think I have The Bean Trees, somewhere, but more than likely it's in the room my husband filled when he emptied the den, 6 months ago. I miss that room.
