cool, read-alongs! Go read at Carl's - his post is a delightful experience and will completely get you in the mood for Once Upon a Time.
Anansi Boys have been on my tbr list forever! Your stack looks great. Happy reading!

It's been in my house for quite a while too. I was so anxious to read it after American Gods, but then never got to it.
Love your book pool! I plan on working in some Gaiman re-reads during the challenge, including Neverwhere obviously (since I'm hosting the group read). I may pick up a Sarah Addison Allen book. I've been meaning to read her forever and her book covers are always so lovely.

How cool about the fox! I hope no one bothers it and that you can enjoy its presence for years to come.

I saw the Neverwhere read along and am considering a reread; I remember loving it so much.

One day, the fox sat under a tree in our neighbours yard (about 6 feet from our driveway). He just watched as every dog being walked down the street went ballistic at him. He just sat. It turned out he had a sore paw and couldn't have run anyway, but he looked like the king in your picture, watching his realm.
I hope you can work it in. I think I'm going to do a read and then a viewing of the BBC television series for those who want to do both. I enjoy the series even though it isn't near as good as the book.

What a great story. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a fox in the "wild".
We have foxes all over PEI - they will go right up to the tourists' cars at the North Shore looking for snacks.
I love Sarah Addison Allen. I hope you do, too! Green Angel and Enna Burning were good, too. Although I didn't like Enna Burning as much as The Goose Girl, but it was still good. I really must finish that series!

I have to say, Promises to Keep was a huge disappointment to me.

I started Green Angel (and should finish it tonight!) and it is just wonderful. And I think I'll head to the library tonight as I can't wait to get started on Sarah Addison Allen.
I haven't read Promises to Keep yet, but I haven't read a Charles de Lint book that I haven't enjoyed yet.
Oh, I have a couple of Fforde book sthat I could add to my pool of possible reads. Enjoy!

Can't go wrong with Fforde, for sure. I wonder when the new one after Shades of Gray will be out?
I love Shannon Hale's books and I enjoyed Allen's Garden Spells. So glad you are joining in!

I haven't read a Shannon Hale book in a while, so I figured this was a good time.
wow, I haven't read any of those..though I have no doubt some will wind up on the wish list after I read reviews!

Isn't it amazing how you can read someone else's book list and not even recognize many of the titles? So many books...
Yaay for Charles de Lint and Jasper Fforde! I enjoyed Well of Lost Plots very much. I don't think I've read Promises to Keep yet, though. I see you've just read Green Angel, I own it and think I will add it to my ever-growing list! i'm about to do my post shortly.....my pile is now huge....lol

Cool for your foxes being in your neighborhood. We get beavers and skunks, especially skunks, here in the west end of Ottawa. Foxes are out in the suburbs. I like that the picture Carl chose reminds you of yours!

This is such a fun challenge, isn't it?
