CHALLLENGE: Muriel Spark Reading Week

Simon and Harriet are hosting a Muriel Spark Reading Week during April 23 - 29, 2012. I have two little Muriel Spark books that would be perfect to read with a bunch of other people. There are a ton more at the library, but I'll have to try one  or two to see if I like her.

The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie
Symposeium
The Driver's Seat

I read:
1. Symposium
2. The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie
3. The Driver's Seat

I have heard of this author plenty of times, but never read anything. Maybe now is a good time to try.
That's what I figured!
I'm looking forward to this challenge! I have a copy of Memento Mori floating around somewhere and a lesser-known novel, Territorial Rights, coming to me in the mail!

My library doesn't have very many of her books. The ones I have I've picked up at used book sales.
The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie is one of my favorite novels (and films). Maggie Smith does a marvelous job in the film. However, her novel, Momento Mori is quite wonderful (in a macabre way) as well. Do read it!!

I'm certainly starting with the most famous book of hers. That's a couple mentions for Momento Mori - I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
