  4. I am in Colonial America in the 1820s. The village has just been wiped out by flood so there is hardship galore, but I am sure that my family will overcome! The Endless Forest by Sara Donati

    I am also in 12th century England getting to know Richard II (Within the Hollow Crown by Margaret Campbell Barnes.
