For Decades, you can always change books if you want. You already have a bunch just from this list!
ReplyDelete#1 is 50's, #2 is 60's, #6 is 70's, #7 is 80's, and #13 is 90's.
14 is awesome. I came out with 11 this month, which isn't bad at all for me.
3m - Reading 14 books was terrific and they were mostly very, very good reads. 11 is impressive too. I didnt' start school until the 7th.
ReplyDeleteI suppose I could use some of them for the Decades, and I may come back for some of them, but I'm saving some of those early dates to give me incentive to pick up some of the older Pulitzers.
I like your "books bought" and "books read" categories. It reminds me of *sigh* Nick Hornby...
ReplyDeleteGreat work on your challenges! Lots of heavy lifting there!
You kicked major butt in January. Congrats!
ReplyDeletebybee - I freely admit to copying our friend Nick's idea. I also thought I should write down what I've been buying, to scare myself into buying less. Although, I didn't pay full for any of them, lots of sales and remainder tables.
ReplyDeletejill - thanks, there were many fabulous books too, I was flying through them because they were so good.
I going to be reading Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens for the first time this month.
ReplyDeleteWow! You have been one busy reader. Looks like you've got a good start on all of your challenges for the year. Wa-hoo!
ReplyDeleteHoly toledo, Raidergirl! You are doing a number on those challenges with the number of books read. Hats off...
