BLOGGING: It's Tuesday, Where Are You?

It has been a while since I've asked where reading is taking you. It'd be great if everyone played along, and shared where they are in reading (and in real life if you like). How has everyone been?

In reading, I am in the small English village of Cranford, where the ladies are keeping track of everything. (Cranford, Elizabeth Gaskell)
I also am somewhere in the midwest, where a car has just run off the road, somewhere near Colorado. I'm a little disoriented right now, so we'll see where this book goes. (Bound, Antonya Nelson)

Where is reading taking you today? Leave a comment, write a post, spread the word.

  1. I'm in nostalgic tvland with the Mouseketeers - reading Why? Because We Still Like You by Jennifer Armstrong.

  2. Well, irl I'm just down the road in PEI :) In reading, I'm in Boston at the moment with James Lord's My Queer War. On the blog though I'm visiting Ghana!

  3. I'm in BC, dating the son of my best friend from the Yukon. (Song Over Quiet Lake)

  4. I'm in the Northwest Territories reading Steve Zip's "Yellowknife" and all the characters who live there.

  5. a few lost comments:

sprite said - I'm in upstate New York on The Farm with fairy tale characters known as the Fables. (Peter and Max, Bill Willingham)

corey redekop said - I am in a New York in the future time about five minutes from now (Super Sad True Love Story).

jenclair said - I'm in London-following MI5 and their daring plan to mislead the Nazis about an Allied invasion of Sicily.

  6. nan - I bet you're singing M-I-C-K-E-Y all day long!

amy - I read the best book last year from Ghana - The Wife of the Gods. Great to have you join in!

john - haven't heard of that book.

arcona (mom) - what do you think so far? Lots of characters in that book.

sprite - I've heard of Fables, but I haven't read a lot of fairy tale type stories.

corey - that sounds cool - five minutes from now. I will look into that.

    jenclair- sounds exciting!

  7. I'm in Ohio with some runaway slaves and ghosts.
    "Beloved" Toni Morrison.

  8. That's so funny, I am also reading a book by Elizabeth Gaskell. I am not in Cranford, but in the small town of Hollingford, where Molly Gibson and her family live. (Wives and Daughters)

  9. I've not read these novels, but I loved the mini-series on PBS last Winter. I'd go there any day!
