CHALLENGE: A - Zed Authors and Titles, Update

Amazingly, I completed this one. Last year, I didn't quite make it, missing authors U and Y and titles X. And with no surprise, the U author was the last one I read this year. Apparently there aren't enough U authors that I am interested in reading. I had to use a children's picture book for X author, but it was very cute and I read it during the Olympics which was nice, culturally.

Thanks to Joy for hosting this; the official blog helped me find some authors and titles that I was getting stuck on. Next year Becky will host this one. I'm not going to attempt this one, I am going to stop on a successful note. My suggestions for readers attempting this one is to feel free to move titles and authors around, don't feel a books is locked into one slot. And try not to leave all the hard ones until the end.

  1. Congrats on finishing this HUGE challenge. It's a really difficult one to complete!

  2. Congrats on finishing! There are some letters that I can't even remember if I have ever read, so I know about them being difficult! I would never be able to do a challenge like this, I am too picky in my reading!

  3. 3m - thanks, it was very hard! I can't see doing it again, except I have Sky Burial here to read, and that would knock off an X author...

kailana - thanks, it's just a matter of writing it all down. I love keeping lists, so that part wasn't hard. It was hard finding the weird letters.

  4. Congrats!! I've tried to do this one 2 years in a row and not even come close....I keep reading authors with a last name that starts with P LOL! Good job!

  5. HOORAY!!! I'm so glad you persevered and got those difficult letters read. I too had trouble with U.

If you'd like, you can link your final list on the A ~ Z Challenge blog. The first post has the link.

  6. Kristina - I had lots of W and S. It is a really hard one, and while it mostly works just by chance, the letters that don't fit seem so random to find. And they always seem like long books!

joy - thanks! I'll get that post linked soon.

Thanks for commenting, so nice of you to visit.

(I'll try without the letters for a while - so please dont be a spammer! Let's try no anonymous users)
